The city of Manado is one of 15 Regency / City in North Sulawesi province. North side border is North Minahasa and Sangihe-Talaud archipelago, west side border is Main Minahasa, east side border is North Minahasa, and south side border is Main Minahasa.

Despitefully, grew association / ethnical and cultural society like Batak, Irian, East Java, Sangihe, Banjar, Minang, and the other ethnic group with their own dialect. Malay-Manado language is used as everyday association language, at the same time official language is Indonesian. Manado society embraces Protestant Christian, Catholic Christian, Moslem, Hindu and Buddha religion.
